Brooks Brothers Black Friday SaleIt is one of the best times of the year again to score sweet deals on quality men’s clothing.  Some of our favorite retailers will be reducing their products as much as 50% and you will be able to get these deals at retail stores, or on their website.  Now they haven’t released price points yet for this year, but from last years sales things are looking pretty good.  In the next couple of weeks, websites will be releasing their ads so you will have plenty of time to come up with a buying strategy.  This is what the Nerd Wallet has reported and what to look for:

Eddie Bauer

If you’re looking for casual but stylish attire, Eddie Bauer has you covered. Founded as a sportswear retailer, the store has expanded its collection to include casual wear and outdoor clothing for men and women. With an online store, catalog and more than 300 locations across North America, the clothing retailer offers customers a broad selection of quality apparel, accessories and additional gear.

Last year, savvy savers could take advantage of a 30% discount storewide by applying the promotional code ICY. The offer included free shipping and lasted through Dec. 2.

Founded in 2007, men’s clothing retailer Bonobos features a unique business model. Shoppers can visit brick-and-mortar stores – called “guideshops” – to try on clothing and receive assistance, but when it comes to actually purchasing items, everything is sold exclusively online.

Bonobos’ inventory ranges from casual wear to formal attire, with pants, shirts, sweaters, jackets and more. Shoppers can also find tailored items as well as shoes and accessories at the online store. Year-round, the retailer offers free shipping and returns.

All items were marked down by 30% last year during the store’s Cyber Monday sale. Additional select discounts were also offered, including 50% off all merino crewnecks, 50% off cashmere V-necks and 40% off a number of suits. Among the retailer’s best deals were Bonobos travel jeans for $68.60, instead of $98 (made in the USA), and Bonobos navy washed chino blazer for an impressive $103.60, compared with its original price of $198. Washed chinos from the brand sold for $61.60 instead of $88, while the Grenson Tyler medallion toe blucher was marked down from $345 to $241.50.

The sales didn’t end there. The store also offered a “secret” promotion of 35% off all orders of at least $1,000 with the code CYBER35. Not quite ready to spend one grand at a single store this shopping season? Consider teaming up with friends and family members to combine your purchases into one order so you can secure the higher discount.

Brooks Brothers

Founded in 1818, Brooks Brothers is one of the oldest men’s clothing retailers in the country. Although it now also features clothing for women, the store is best known for its classic menswear. Brooks Brothers has outfitted 39 of the 44 presidents and has supplied clothing for the TV show “Mad Men.” From dress shirts and blazers to shorts and sweaters, the store offers a broad selection of men’s apparel, in addition to shoes and accessories, including belts, watches and hats.

Last year, the store offered its in-store and online shoppers some excellent discounts for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. From Nov. 25 through Dec. 2, everything at brick-and-mortar locations was marked down 40-50%, excluding charitable items and gift cards. For online customers, Brooks Brothers featured a 10% discount across the entire site, along with free shipping with no minimum order required. Considering that free shipping is a rare occurrence at and shipping costs aren’t cheap, the online store’s promotions weren’t bad, despite discounts that were not as deep as those at the stores.

In the upcoming weeks we will update you with other local retailers to look for on the market that will be offering insane deals.  Just make sure to set aside some money so you can get something for yourself as well as others.  We will also be posting sales on Male Emporium so be sure not to miss out!
